Unit value is only the first input

The wood table lists NPC sale values per in-game volume unit. It does not list the price of a whole tree, an entire truck or a collector’s trade. Two loads that look similar can contain different volumes. Select the exact species and raw or processed state in the calculator, then enter a measured or consistently estimated volume.

Measure one complete run

Start the timer when you leave, not when the axe first hits a tree. Include travel, access preparation, cutting, loading, unloading and processing. Record the gross sale and any route costs you actually paid. Net income is the gross sale minus those costs; an hourly equivalent is net income divided by the whole trip time, multiplied by 60. It is an estimate from your run, not a promise that every hour will go that way.

Do not erase the difficult trips

A route comparison becomes misleading when only a lucky, uninterrupted run is counted. Record lost loads, failed access attempts and time spent looking for a tree as well. A simple way to compare routes is to total the cash and total the time across several attempts. Do not turn a one-off high payout into a guaranteed income claim.

Specialists help only where they match

Fire Axe targets Volcano Wood, Frost Axe targets Frost, and Cave Axe targets Cavecrawler. Their ordinary-wood stats can look unimpressive because the special interaction is the point. Conversely, the Many Axe has high per-hit damage but a longer cooldown; it is not proof of universal superiority. Use the axe finder alongside route planning.

Separate business goals

Cash farming, collecting and building are different tasks. Snowglow has a low NPC rate but a distinctive look. Seasonal wood can be worth keeping for your own build, regardless of the dropoff value. This site does not manufacture a current trading price or direct you to cash sellers.
